IMPROVED SECURITY
With the new version 11.1, Dynacom offers a simpler and more user-friendly approach to implementing security features within the application.
The former User Maintenance screen has been split into two screens dedicated to provide better management of user rights and permissions within the software. There is now one screen to create users and one screen for assigning user permissions.
The User Maintenance still define the profile of each user of your software by recording the basic information about each of them while the new Permission Maintenance screen is used to display all data objects within your company so as to grant or revoke access rights to each of them.

A inverse approach to implementing security
The major difference with the previous version of Dynacom Accounting is in the way permissions are granted to a user. Prior to version 11.1, an administrator used to grant permissions to a user while now, the administrator must associate a user with each permission. This approach makes the process safer and more precise.

Permissions, or access rights, can be assigned to objects at many levels of the company: entry screens, reports, additional modules, etc. In some editions, they can also be used to restrict the types of actions a user can perform even within his authorized areas: view, add, edit, delete, query, save, etc.
These new security features are available exclusively with the corporate editions of Dynacom Accounting.
